Journal scope

Nordic Notes reflects the researchers' growing and diverse needs in publishing important articles and book reviews across a range of subjects on the general field of Scandinavian Studies. It is available via the Internet, reflecting the relatively high usage of the www by scholars researching in a variety of Scandinavian areas.

Subsequent to electronic publising, some articles are produced in conventional format and deposited in the National Library of Australia under the ISSN 1327-905X. Access to Nordic Notes is free. Sponsorship for the Scandinavian Studies Centre having been provided by the Celsius Group and Kockums AB. What distinguishes it from other similar journals in the field is its electronic format, with a particularly useful book review section on recent publications.

The unique profile of the Scandinavian Studies Centre allows it to have access to a wide cross section of leading scholars in the northern and southern hemispheres, who can bring specific expertise to articles and books submitted for publication or review.
